A scientific symposium on abrupt climate change sponsored the Donald D. Harrington Fellows Program. Co-sponsored by the Environmental Science Institute.

The symposium includes leading scientists from Penn State University, the University of Bern, Switzerland, the University of California, Berkeley, and Ohio State University. Participants were chosen with overlapping and complementary research interests in abrupt climate change.
