Research Experiences for Undergraduates
In Integrated Environmental Sciences
Surveying Above Natural Bridge Caverns
Are you thinking of a career in research? Are you interested in how our environment functions and how people interact with the environment? Our Research Experience for Undergraduates program gives students the opportunity to learn how to do research in environmental sciences.

Students in the program will work in a research group headed by a faculty mentor giving each student the opportunity to explore research in the fields of ecology, geology, hydrogeology, civil engineering, urban planning, GIS, coastal ecology, and maybe even research that cuts across the boundary of two or more disciplines. More about the REU program.

Funded by the Department of Defense and contracted by the National Science Foundation.
