Are you thinking of a career in research? Are you seeking to increase your science knowledge to enhance your teaching? Are you interested in how our environment functions and how people interact with the environment? Our Research Experience for Undergraduates and Teachers program gives participants the opportunity to learn how to do research in environmental sciences.

Students and teachers in the program will work in a research group headed by a faculty mentor giving each student the opportunity to explore research in the fields of ecology, geology, hydrogeology, civil engineering, urban planning, GIS, and coastal ecology, all as they relate to Global Change and Its Impacts. More about the REU/RET program.

Funded by the Department of Defense and contracted by the National Science Foundation.
