I am using hi-speed internet, why does the webcast run so slow in my computer?
Currently, many internet service providers are featuring hi-speed internet for customers. However, there is not a standard definition for “hi-speed internet connection.” Our webcast works best with cable (or better) connection because the webcast requires large bandwidth for data transfer. DSL users may experience delays. Dial-up users are not suggested to view our webcast due to the limited bandwidth. We recommend dial-up users to listen to the audio version of the presentation and/or subscribe our podcast through iTunes.
I want to fast-forward (or backward) the presentation. When I have done so, everything freezes. Why is that?
While you are viewing the lecture presentation through Envivio, you will see two (2) controller bars: video player controller and one in the interface. ONLY the controller bar shown in the interface will work for fast-forward or backward. The video player controller will cause the video to freeze. More information can be found in “How to view our webcast.”
I have experience in viewing live broadcasting in other websites. They do not require any additional plug-in installation. Why do I need to install Envivio to view the webcast?
Due to technology limitation, Envivio is, by far, the best medium to broadcast our live presentation on internet. We understand that it may cause some kind of inconvenience during installation. We strongly suggest viewers to consult our “Installation Help” if any problem is encountered. If you do have technical problems that are not mentioned in “Installation Help” or “How to view our webcast,” we encourage you to submit your problem through the box of the left of your browser on the previous page. Please make sure you enter your email address correctly so that we can solve your problem promptly.
When I try to view a webcast, it launches my video player but an error message is shown.

I watched the webcast last time with Envivio properly installed. Why can’t I view the webcast right now with the same video player?
Envivio is only compatible with the current version of your video player when you installed the plugin. If you have recently upgrade your media player, you must reinstall Envivio to view our webcast.
