1. I used the bathroom in this tiny little bar in a tiny town, and this little guy was the bathroom monitor.
2. This is the ecological preserve where we searched for
Psiguria on Saturday. NO, the trails were not this nice; they were all mud!
3. This is the greatest extent of wildlife I?ve seen ? chickens!
4. Karla Meza, my guide in Iquitos. She is holding a beautiful flower called
Costa. The man behind her led us through the preserve. He carried a machete to clear the way for us when necessary.
5. Cool flower called
Heliconia marginata.
6. A giant palm tree. You can see how big it is by the guide standing next to it.
7. ?Nuestros animales estan desapareciendo poco a poco. Tenemos que protegerlos.? Our animals are disappearing little by little. We have to protect them.
