Santa Cruz   ( Jan. 8, 2008 )
It was a long day. Things move rather slowly here in Bolivia. The trip from La Paz began at 7:00 this morning, and we arrived in Santa Cruz around noon. It was still faster than driving!

Then, it took us all afternoon to arrange for a rental car. My guide, Oscar, suggested that we hire a driver because it is so dangerous and crazy to drive here. I thought that sounded like a good idea.

So, tomorrow we begin looking for Psiguria in the rainforest, Finally! It should be a long and tiring day. Hopefully, luck will be on my side.

We are staying at a hotel here in Santa Cruz called La Paz Hotel, funny. Anyway it doesn?t have free internet, so I walked down to the corner to an internet cafe. It costs only 50 cents per hour - pretty cheap!

Not much else interesting happened today.
