Water Cycle Lecture and Workshop Series

ESI has sponsored several workshops for GK-12 teachers and other interested educators during the past school year. The first workshop was a follow up to Dr. Jack Sharp's Outreach Lecture on the Edwards aquifer and teachers were provided with materials to produce their own PowerPoint presentations about groundwater. This theme concerning hydrogeology was enhanced a few months later with a field workshop where teachers and students traveled to specific locations to observe recharge and discharge features and stratigraphic units associated with the Edwards aquifer.
