- The Campus Environmental Center is a sponsored student organization in the division of Campus Planning and Facilities Management. The CEC is dedicated to cultivating a culture of environmental sustainability on The University of Texas at Austin campus. It is completely student run, and manages many different projects around campus that benefit students every year including EcoReps and the campus Recycling Task Force.
- Keep Austin Beautiful inspires and educates individuals and our community towards greater environmental stewardship. Its mission is to clean beautify and protect the Austin environment through physical improvements and hands-on education, and it focuses on litter prevention, beautification and community improvement, and waste reduction and resource conservation
- Austin’s Yellow Bike Project is a community supported, all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing human-powered transportation for the people of Austin, running a community bike shop, and educating kids and adults. The Yellow Bike Project promotes cleaner air, land, and water, while encouraging people to meet their transportation needs through an active lifestyle and community participation.
- Austin Green Art is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about important environmental issues via hands-on, creative, community-based programming and events. Austin Green Art utilizes collaboration and the transformative power of the creative arts to engage participants and provides first-hand knowledge about issues relating to conservation, sustainability and the environment.
