This Forum Seminar will explore the range of environmental problems that have been created by human activity and population growth. Among the major issues to be addressed are:

The roles of science, policy-making, economic interests and the media will be examined in the context of these issues.

Led by outstanding faculty from a variety of disciplines, Forum Seminars are UT courses designed to introduce students to a variety of potential areas of study.

**Forum Seminars meet for two hours a week during the first half of the semester.**
