New faculty positions open at UT-Austin in urban ecology and water resources engineering

The School of Architecture, along with the Environmental Science Institute, are looking to recruit an assistant professor in the School of Architecture specializing in urban ecology. The ideal candidate will have interdisciplinary research and teaching interests that contribute to the planning and design of environmentally and socially sustainable communities and will be able to address the impacts of climate change on the infrastructure and ecology of urban environments.

The Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in environmental and water resources engineering with a focus on innovative tools and/or modeling techniques to advance knowledge spanning hydrological science and engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in water resources engineering with particular focus on remote sensed data analysis and/or hydrological modeling tools, develop a sponsored research program, supervise graduate students, collaborate with other faculty, and be involved in service to the university and the professor.
